Cheque Returns / NSF 

In the event Pelican Graphics receives a returned cheque, the purchaser will be assessed a $40 NSF fee and will need to resubmit payment. 

 

Terms 

Prepayment is required prior to production for all new clients; all orders will go into production once payment has been received. Once account applications have been approved, all orders will be NET 30 day terms. For orders exceeding $3,000.00, a 50% prepayment is required. Pelican Graphics reserves the right to hold orders if account is in arrears. An interest rate of 18% per annum will apply for all orders over 30 days.

 

Shipping Delays 

Customer agrees that it will not hold Pelican Graphics responsible for delays in delivery occasioned by acts of God or other circumstances over which we have no direct control. Factory shipment or delivery dates are the best estimates of our suppliers. Pelican Graphics will not be held liable for any consequential or special damages arising from any delay in delivery.

Merchandise Consistency 

Pelican Graphics encourages customer to review a sample of the actual product before you order in bulk quantity. Customer understands that these samples are representative in nature. While we are very careful with the printing process, variations are unavoidable and a natural result of the printing process. By choosing to place and order with Pelican Graphics, you are agreeing to accept merchandise with reasonable manufacturing variances in product material, color and packaging. 

 

Color Matching 

Not all methods of decoration are eligible for Pantone matching. Customer assumes responsibility for supplying the correct pantone number and approving the correct Pantone number on the supplied proof sheet. PMS colors can be matched as close as possible at no extra charge. Pelican Graphics is not responsible for products that experience print or images that are fuzzy, pixilated or otherwise distorted as a result of the customer providing artwork that is not at a minimum of 300 DPI at a 1:1ratio (or100%) and/or in CMYK mode. 

 

Transfer of Ownership of Merchandise 

All goods become your property at the time they are accepted by the carrier and they have left the premises of Pelican Graphics. 

 

Acceptance 

Orders proceed into production once artwork approval has been accepted by customer. Artwork approval is considered acknowledgment by Pelican Graphics of your offer to purchase our goods and your acceptance of our terms and conditions.   

 

Sales Tax 

Pelican Graphics is required by law to collect all applicable provincial and local taxes for services and goods shipped. 

 

Cancellations and Alterations to Existing Orders 

Once artwork is approved and an order is acknowledged, we cannot guarantee our ability to make changes or cancellations to an order. Pelican Graphics will make every effort to comply with your cancellation request.  All cancellations must be made in writing and cancellations will be accepted only if order has not been put into production. Customers are responsible for all costs incurred up to the time of cancellation. 

 

Claims, Adjustments and Returns 

If you have problems with your order, please contact customer service at (204) 222-1230 within 7 days of receipt. We encourage opening your merchandise to review its quality if you do not intend to use it right away. After this time, we will be unable to accept returns. Please have your order number available. WE DO NOT ACCEPT UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS. If any problem arises, please call customer service immediately. 

 

Shipping Charges 

We make every effort to accurately estimate shipping fees. Periodically, we may underestimate the shipping charges on your order. Sometimes carriers may have rate fluctuations between time of quote and time of shipping. If this happens, we reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to your shipping charges. *If blind shipping is required it must be indicated on purchase order. 

 

Site Pricing 

While we make best efforts to keep our site up to date, from time to time market conditions can change the price of a product. Pelican Graphics reserves the right to change published prices of product offered on our site at any time. If a published site price is not correct on an item you have quoted or ordered, we will contact you immediately with the most updated price or help you choose a different item that is within your budget.
